Its that time of the year folks! Sooner Bass Club is kicking off our regular season this week in two divisions. The Sooner Division kicks off saturday morning on Sooner Lake while the Southern Divison kicks off saturday morning on Arbuckle Lake.

I will be at Arbuckle at the Guy Sandy launch area at 5:30am to take registrations. We'll have a quick safety briefing and get on the water at safe light. You can complete a registration form on the website or wait and register/pay at the ramp.

We have great things in store for this season folks. Hope everyone will join us.

    See ya on the water.

SBC Eufala Division by Herb AscheMember Profile,2/8/2010 15:26 CT
Just wanted to let out a little bit of information on the up coming Eufala division of Sooner Bass Club. The one and only Nettie will be the director for this division. I want to welcome her aboard and look forward to an awesome year with her on Eufala.

She is working on the schedule at this time so if any of you that are interested in that division give her a call or e-mail to let her know what your preference might be. This will help her greatly on her schedule. This is going to make for a great Classic.

Me and James will be there, looks like decent February weather too, no rain, not much wind, little bit of sunshine. I'm really lookin forward to it.

Kelly, me and my staff will be performing the weigh in at the Sooner Lake Division. This is how the entire season will run.

Herb Asche Director will M.C and watch over the entire procedure from the first tank to the scales.
Steve Owens is the assistant director and scale master
    Amanda Asche computer entry
    Michelle Owens scale tickets
John Golay removes fish from mesh bag and transfers to scales.
    Tony Halford helps the anglers at the first sink transfer fish from hard bag to mesh and helps check for short fish.;
Dalton Owens will be hauling mesh bags back to first sink
Mark Barberis helping transport fish to the lake.

I prefer you to pay at ramp for each event you will fish.

Herb! Will you have membership forms at the ramp? I tried sending you an e-mail from the club website but it would not go through.

Yes sir I will have membership and entry forms at the ramp. I always prefer yo uto pay at the ramp the morning of any of the events. This way if you have an emergency or the weather stops you from coming your entry fee is not held by us. You pay as you go.

I will post the take off times and such in roughly 30 minutes. I am calling Steve at this time to confer with what we are doing this weekend
Membership question? by Rodney W RichardsMember Profile,2/10/2010 12:35 CT
    Herb,
If we fished the winter trail is our membership still good or do we have to pay again.

    Thanks,

Rodney, If you fished the winter trail of Sooner Bass Club and you paid the membership during the winter then yes you are good to go for this year. The memebrship a person bought last year to fish the spring and summer trail is not. Your card will say 2010 on it if you are a current memebr. If it says 2009 on it then it is not good.
